Uzbek League champions failed in the first match of 2017 AFC Champions League

Captain Talal Al Absi’s second-half goal saw Saudi Arabia's Al Taawoun FC get their initial points in their first ever appearance at AFC Champions League with a 1-0 victory over Uzbekistan Oliy League side FC Lokomotiv in Group A on Monday.

After the goalless 45 minutes, Saudi Arabia side boosted the attacks as they managed to break the deadlock with a Talal Al Absi's header shot using the awfully mistake of keeper Ignatiy Nesterov on 68 minutes.
